WL (Bud) Gorman is a former Canadian army officer who dealt with interesting challenges and demanding situations in many parts of the world, including Europe, India, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean. In a second career, he wrote and helped to direct exercises for the Canadian military using various computer simulations and role-playing productions. Today, Bud enjoys Chinese brush painting, tying fishing flies, and is learning to play rock and roll guitar. He and his wife live in the country between two small towns not far from Ottawa.
