There are currently nine books in the series, with three more coming in the first half of 2025. Books 1 - 7 constitute the "original" series, which follows Detective John Keegan as a seasoned NYPD homicide detective. Book 8 begins the "retro" series that goes back to when Keegan was a young, inexperienced detective at a time before digital tools were available to help solve crimes. Each book is set against the ever-evolving backdrop of New York City, and each book unravels a complex web of murder, deceit, and intrigue.
