About the Author
David W. Berner writes inside a small writing shed on his property outside Chicago. Garden Tools is his first collection of poems. Berner is also author of fiction, creative nonfiction, memoir, and short stories, and recipient of numerous writing awards, including the Eric Hoffer Book Award, the NYC Big Book Award, the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors Award for Literary Fiction, and the Book of the Year Award from the Chicago Writers Association.
