About the Author

About the Author
Donald de Brier is an avid military historian with a legal and military background. He graduated from Princeton with a degree in history and was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy, where he served in intelligence and on a destroyer. He later earned a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania, practiced law at a large New York firm, and worked in London for British Petroleum where he rekindled his interest in the history of British and U.S. military intelligence.
